For master's program applicants, laboratory visits and preliminary faculty meetings are not required. However, many students choose to visit laboratories beforehand to discuss research topics with faculty and experience the laboratory atmosphere by talking with other students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can master's students do mathematically valuable research?<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Absolutely. Undergraduate and master's students can achieve internationally recognized research results in mathematics and mathematical sciences. In fact, many papers by students in our departments have been accepted in prestigious international academic journals and international conferences.
